The winter concert, a great milestone in every student’s years at Cavell. A magical experience of bubbling nerves, your teacher stressing, and in your older years, folding programs. The 2017 Cavell Annual Winter Concert was a great success, full to the brim of adorable faces, many lovely singing numbers, and sentimental Grade 7’s. Lots of timeless classics including, Happy Xmas (War is Over) performed by Division 1 and A Marshmallow World performed by Division 5. However, the concert was balanced out with some modern treats like, Love In My Heart a cover of Spirits performed by Divisions 3 and 6. Another modern reinvention was, Divisions 2 and 10’s Hip-Hop number that was inspired by a scene in the Nutcracker. The Hosts entertained us with some stand-up comedy and the Cavell Choir displayed their months of hard work. Overall, all classes put in a lot of work and it really showed, good luck next year!
